It isn’t luck that helps some kids succeed, it’s mentors like you!
As a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters, you can help a child facing adversity to realize their potential and fulfill their dreams.

In order to help us serve over 800 kids in 2012,
we are asking the community to think of one person – JUST 1,
that would be a great Big Brother or Big Sister and tell them about the program. Maybe it’s a friend, a co-worker, a significant other, a neighbor – maybe it’s YOU! Think of how many kids could benefit from having an extra, caring adult role model in their life. And because there are always boys on the waiting list who need a positive male influence, the need for more men to be Big Brothers is especially great. Just a few hours a month is all it takes to make a difference and help start something BIG for kids in our community!

JUST 1 Campaign Contest
For those already involved in the program, we have a little contest going on!
The first Five Current Big Sisters/Brothers to get a friend to enroll as a Big Sister or Big Brother between March 17 and June 21 2012 will win a prize!* Additional prizes go to the current Bigs who get the most friends to enroll!

Contest rules: You must be a current Big with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern New Mexico. Your friend must enroll as a Big Sister or Big Brother by June 21 for you to be prize eligble, and they must name you as the referral in the notes field of the online application, OR let a staff person know if enrolling by mail/phone.

So what are you waiting for! Get out there and start telling everyone you know about Big Brothers Big Sisters!
